Made a bra today to cheer myself up - only had 30cm of the lace so it’s not totally symmetrical but I’m still pretty happen! Tried it with one of my Wiktoria harnesses though I am inclined to say that’s a strap overkill! Design by Karolina Laskowska.

It depends on what the sample’s for - generally my bras are 32C/34B and my knickers a UK 10/12. They tend to be around the industry’s standard sample size.

Oh now that’s a tricky one… I think that my absolute current favourite designer at the moment is Marika Vera, I am absolutely dying to own one of her pieces! As for boutiques, my favourite ones to shop in around Sales time are Coco De Mer, Harrods and Selfridges purely for the bargains to be had. Favourite boutique experience was in a Parisian Fifi Chachnil boutique though - gorgeous decor and lingerie and lovely staff!

Do you think companies like Bordelle are overpriced? I saw a suspender there for £200, it's ridiculous. No regular joe worker can afford to pay that for a few meters of thin (all be it good quality) material. How do you make sure your products are high quality but affordable?

That is a tricky one. If they’re overpriced then so is everyone in the luxury sector - including me. Lingerie is one of the most expensive pieces of clothing you will ever buy - it’s not just a few metres of material that you’re paying for. The amount of time that goes into making a piece of lingerie, on top of the amount of time that goes into developing it, is probably a lot more than you’d expect, particularly in relation to outerwear pieces. With regards to my pieces, if I wouldn’t wear it myself it doesn’t pass muster! The term affordable is incredibly vague and means something different to everyone so that’s not something I feel I can answer.

Not particularly. I treat every enquiry as just that - an enquiry - with no obligations attached. If it goes ahead then it’s great but if it doesn’t I don’t lose sleep over it!
